Being independent from vessel’s power supply, Essar's Sound Powered Telephone system
allows for emergency communication at critical spots in the vessel even in case of power
failure.
It is manufactured to be a waterproof and dustproof system appropriate for the vessel
and adopts the input power supply to deliver communications and signals such as bell
and lamp. This system includes flush, wall, waterproof, portable, and I.S. models, all of
which can be interfaced with the horn, bell, flashing light and foot switch. It was tested

Radar system is an object-detection system that uses radio waves to determine objects'
range, altitude, direction, and speed. The Radar System Essar supplies represent the

To maximize compatibility with different vessels and operating systems, our Radar
System is available in various configurations, including a wide range of inter-switchable X-
Band and S-Band formats. It can be quickly upgraded to chart radar, ECDIS, and multi-

downloads, integrated weather routing, and remote diagnostics as well as CCTV support
and 3D vision sonar terrain.
An echo sounder is a type of sonar used to measure the depth of water by transmitting
sound pulses. Along with the speed of sound in water at the time, the time interval
between emission and return of a pulse is used to determine the depth of water.
ESSAR provides one of the markets most sold model. With graphics and relevant
navigational details continuously shown on the LCD, this echo sounder provides history
memory that stores depth, time and other available navigation data for the preceding 24
hours. It has three transducer connections with resonant frequencies of 38, 50 and
200kHz. By choosing the corresponding transducer in the menu, each one can be shown
on the display at a time. External connectors are provided for printer, VGA and NMEA
in/output.
Doppler technology is considered as the gold standard of speed measurement in the
industry. It is used to measure remotely and operate even with considerable organic
growth on the transducers. Essar supplies both single and dual axis Doppler speed logs,
provides accurate navigation parameters measurement in a logical and user friendly way.
Essar International B.V. provides AC-powered, high-intensity marine lanterns in General
Marine Use (GMU) and ATEX Category 2 versions. This model meets the “U” code main
light requirement on north sea platforms, produces up to 19,800 candela and attains up
to 15Nm range depending on transmissivity at the site and the flash characteristic

Besides the high intensive model, Essar's supplies a wide range of low maintenance and
power consumption navigational lanterns that able to achieve maximum visual range,

Bridge Navigational Watch Alarm System (BNWAS) is an automatic system that monitors
the watch officer's presence and receives early warning detections in case of an
emergency for maritime casualty avoidance. It is designed to comply with SOLAS
Regulation for compulsory installation of BNWAS on all new and existing ships to meet
the requirements of the performance standards.
Essar’s BNWAS comprises a control panel (either bulkhead-mounted or console
mounted) and an on board Passive Infra-Red (PIR) movement detector. With additional
PIRs, it can accommodate any bridge size and layout. The system is automatically
engaged when the ship's autopilot is activated.

The new generation of advanced digital marine gyrocompass system is the first of its
type that designed as a single unit and can be installed on any bridges on any vessels, it
provides highly reliable and accurate heading information under all weather conditions.
Ship’s cables are connected directly to terminals within the gyrocompass housing, greatly
facilitating installation. All electronic components are plug-in modules, thus providing
fast and easy service. Digital heading information is derived as an absolute value from a
13-bit shaft encoder. The gyrocompass has a control and display unit installed in the
front access cover, when required, the unit can be removed from the access cover and installed at a location remote from the gyrocompass.

The Electronic Chart Display & Information System (ECDIS) is a computer-based navigation
information system that not only complies with IMO’s regulations for paperless navigation,

Carriage of AIS is required under regulations of Safety Of Life At Sea (SOLAS). The
information automatically provided by AIS includes ship identity, type, position, course,
speed, navigational status and other safety data.
The system is designed to work with a broad range of authorized vector and raster charts,
such as S57, C-Map, ARCS and PRIMAR.
It features disappearing navigation bars and menus to optimize full-screen chart display.
Besides, split-screen function is also available to display two independent charts
simultaneously, or to showcase the same navigational picture at different chart scales.
Multiple voyage plans can be created quickly and edited easily at any time during the voyage
without interrupting the navigation process. The ECDIS automatically correlates targets with
radar and AIS to minimize mistaken identity and simplify watch standing.
The electrically powered fog signals can automatically broadcast a 360 degree beam of
sound in the horizontal plane with a pre-selected code. Designed for unattended operation
from a 12 VDC source, they can be powered by primary air-depolarized cells or by a selected

with a battery charger and a rechargeable battery.
