1. PAGA (Public Address General Alarm)

The Public Address General Alarm (PAGA) system (MRC, IMCOS, GAI-TRONICS & BOSCH) is Essar International’s flagship range of product solutions for harsh industrial infrastructures and facilities under the most challenging environmental conditions. It is the critical equipment you need to deliver crystal-clear messages and alarms throughout the facility to guarantee the safety of your personnel.

   Our systems are certified by approved bodies for a safe broadcast of voice communication and audio alarms in an explosive atmospheric workplace. It has been applied but not limited to the following areas:

   Oil & Gas exploration and production platforms, Bunkering, livestock vessels, DSP vessels, Floating Storage and Offloading (FSO), Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO), Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) & Petroleum vessels. Onshore oil & gas processing plants including oil & gas terminals, petrochemical refineries, and power utilities.

2. PABX (Private Automated Branch Exchange)

Private Automated Branch Exchange (PABX) is a phone switching system that widely used in offices and plants, allowing a single access number to offer multiple lines to outside callers while providing a range of external lines to internal callers or staff.

   Essar International provides a full range of PABX systems including analog PABX, IP PABX, and Hybrid PABX. The analog PABX encodes analog sound into a digital format, and the digitized voice is sent to a channel using circuit switching. By combining traditional communication appliances with state-of-art technology in network design, implementation, and engineering, Essar analog PABX ensures exceptional performance and ease of use for everyone in your business.

3. Sound Power Telephone System

Being independent from vessel’s power supply, Essar's Sound Powered Telephone system allows for emergency communication at critical spots in the vessel even in case of power failure.

   It is manufactured to be a waterproof and dustproof system appropriate for the vessel and adopts the input power supply to deliver communications and signals such as bell and lamp. This system includes flush, wall, waterproof, portable, and I.S. models, all of which can be interfaced with the horn, bell, flashing light and foot switch. It was tested at the IEC60945 standard and approved for CE, it also obtained the type approval from ABS, CCS, and DNV.

4. INMARSAT-C System

The Inmarsat Mini C satellite system provides two-way communications to and from virtually anywhere in the world. An integral part of GMDSS system which features true triple functionality as it safely handles GMDSS, SSAS, and LRIT operation on board.

   Essar International (S) Pte Ltd is ahead in providing Mini C with a simple, low-cost global messaging, telex, and data system that is small enough to be hand-carried or fitted to any vessel, vehicle , or aircraft.

5. CCTV System

Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) is an important surveillance and security system that utilizes cameras to transmit signals to specific places, on a limited set of monitors.

   Selected from world-famous and trustworthy partners, Essar's integrated CCTV system not only comprises traditional analog and IP/network cameras, but also specialty types such as thermal imaging and explosion-proof cameras to cater for temperature and environmental extremes.

6. FIBER OPTIC NETWORK SYSTEM

Essar International B.V offers a wide selection of passive fiber optic solutions for every network, from data center infrastructure to building backbones and long-distance networks. Enclosures and cable assemblies are available in all fiber types for rapid deployment in critical environments.

   The fiber optic network can be designed easily from point to point, which allows data to be transmitted at super high speed with virtually no loss in quality over a long distance, eliminates problems such as high transmission loss and interference, allows network passing right next to major sources of EMI with no effect, provides massive performance and reliability improvements.

8. RADAR System

Radar system is an object-detection system that uses radio waves to determine objects' range, altitude, direction, and speed. The Radar System Essar supplies represent the industry's most innovative marine navigation tool, it supports safe navigation and collision avoidance, delivers the most advanced automatic clutter suppression with Intel- based technology, and makes navigators easier to identify small targets in sea or rain clutter. The high-resolution display shows clear radar images in extreme weather conditions with increased visibility, operating efficiency, and safety at sea for all classes of vessels.

  To maximize compatibility with different vessels and operating systems, our Radar System is available in various configurations, including a wide range of inter-switchable X- Band and S-Band formats. It can be quickly upgraded to chart radar, ECDIS, and multi- function workstation. Further upgrades can be configured to include automatic chart downloads, integrated weather routing, and remote diagnostics as well as CCTV support and 3D vision sonar terrain.

9. ECHO SOUNDER

An echo sounder is a type of sonar used to measure the depth of water by transmitting sound pulses. Along with the speed of sound in water at the time, the time interval between emission and return of a pulse is used to determine the depth of water.

  ESSAR provides one of the markets most sold model. With graphics and relevant navigational details continuously shown on the LCD, this echo sounder provides history memory that stores depth, time and other available navigation data for the preceding 24 hours. It has three transducer connections with resonant frequencies of 38, 50 and 200kHz. By choosing the corresponding transducer in the menu, each one can be shown on the display at a time. External connectors are provided for printer, VGA and NMEA in/output.

10. SPEEDLOG

Doppler technology is considered as the gold standard of speed measurement in the industry. It is used to measure remotely and operate even with considerable organic growth on the transducers. Essar supplies both single and dual axis Doppler speed logs, provides accurate navigation parameters measurement in a logical and user friendly way.

  Essar International B.V. provides AC-powered, high-intensity marine lanterns in General Marine Use (GMU) and ATEX Category 2 versions. This model meets the “U” code main light requirement on north sea platforms, produces up to 19,800 candela and attains up to 15Nm range depending on transmissivity at the site and the flash characteristic chosen.

11. NAVIGATION LIGHT

Besides the high intensive model, Essar's supplies a wide range of low maintenance and power consumption navigational lanterns that able to achieve maximum visual range, including models for mark buoys, offshore structures, channels, bridges, barges and docks, as well as models for use on fixed offshore structures.

  Additionally, full line of flashers, lampchangers and lampholders are also available for industrial use, Essar's supplies models for DC or AC operation that provide up to 256 user selectable flash codes and feature solid-state electronics coated to withstand the marine environment. They are sealed in a watertight acrylic canister with corrosion protection to assure maximum reliability.

12. BNWAS (Bridge Navigation Watch Alarm System)

Bridge Navigational Watch Alarm System (BNWAS) is an automatic system that monitors the watch officer's presence and receives early warning detections in case of an emergency for maritime casualty avoidance. It is designed to comply with SOLAS Regulation for compulsory installation of BNWAS on all new and existing ships to meet the requirements of the performance standards.

  Essar’s BNWAS comprises a control panel (either bulkhead-mounted or console mounted) and an on board Passive Infra-Red (PIR) movement detector. With additional PIRs, it can accommodate any bridge size and layout. The system is automatically engaged when the ship's autopilot is activated.

13. AIR WHISTLE

Essar International B.V supplies type approved air driven signal appliances that fully comply with IMO and international authority regulations. Essar is also able to provide tailored solution for the corrosion-resistant thermoplastic trumpet horns with low air consumption upon request.

  Besides air driven whistles, Essar offers a wide selection of electrically driven piston emitters with unsymmetrical sound distribution. These emitters are maintenance free and noncorrosive, they are able to operate in all ambient temperatures and will not be affected by voltage and frequency fluctuations.

14. GYRO COMPASS

The new generation of advanced digital marine gyrocompass system is the first of its type that designed as a single unit and can be installed on any bridges on any vessels, it provides highly reliable and accurate heading information under all weather conditions.

  Ship’s cables are connected directly to terminals within the gyrocompass housing, greatly facilitating installation. All electronic components are plug-in modules, thus providing fast and easy service. Digital heading information is derived as an absolute value from a 13-bit shaft encoder. The gyrocompass has a control and display unit installed in the front access cover, when required, the unit can be removed from the access cover and installed at a location remote from the gyrocompass.

15. MAGNETIC COMPASS

Essar International B.V supplies a high precision magnetic compass system that suitable to use with Transmitting Magnetic Compass (TMC) equipment to operate repeaters, Off-Course Alarms (OCA) and outputs to navigation equipment including gyro back up.

16. DGPS (Differential Global Positioning System)

Differential Global Positioning System (DGPS) is an enhancement to Global Positioning System(GPS). It utilizes a network of fixed reference stations to correct the difference between the measured satellite pseudo ranges and actual pseudo ranges, providing improved location accuracy.

  With state-of-the-art innovation in marine navigation, Omega supplies easy to use DGPS via the user-friendly Man Machine Interface (MMI) that already renowned from its predecessors. This versatile multi-port interface can be connected to ECDIS, gyro and other navigation aid systems, offering extraordinary capabilities.

17. AUTOMATIC IDENTIFICATION SYSTEM (AIS)

The Automatic Identification System (AIS) is an automatic tracking system used on vessels and by Vessel Traffic Services (VTS) to identify and locate vessels through electronically exchanging of data with other nearby ships, AIS base stations and satellites.

  Carriage of AIS is required under regulations of Safety Of Life At Sea (SOLAS). The information automatically provided by AIS includes ship identity, type, position, course, speed, navigational status and other safety data.

18. ECDIS System

The Electronic Chart Display & Information System (ECDIS) is a computer-based navigation information system that not only complies with IMO’s regulations for paperless navigation, but also provides the industry the most advanced capabilities for voyage planning and chart management.

  Carriage of AIS is required under regulations of Safety Of Life At Sea (SOLAS). The information automatically provided by AIS includes ship identity, type, position, course, speed, navigational status and other safety data.

  The system is designed to work with a broad range of authorized vector and raster charts, such as S57, C-Map, ARCS and PRIMAR.

  It features disappearing navigation bars and menus to optimize full-screen chart display. Besides, split-screen function is also available to display two independent charts simultaneously, or to showcase the same navigational picture at different chart scales.

  Multiple voyage plans can be created quickly and edited easily at any time during the voyage without interrupting the navigation process. The ECDIS automatically correlates targets with radar and AIS to minimize mistaken identity and simplify watch standing.

19. FOG HORN

The electrically powered fog signals can automatically broadcast a 360 degree beam of sound in the horizontal plane with a pre-selected code. Designed for unattended operation from a 12 VDC source, they can be powered by primary air-depolarized cells or by a selected solar power system. Where mains power is available, they can be operated in conjunction with a battery charger and a rechargeable battery.

  The fog horns Essar supplies are United States Coast Guard approved, comply with all IALA recommendations and UL listed, suitable for use in Class I, Division 2, Group A, B, C and D hazardous areas.
